On September 9, 2021, President Biden announced major changes to US regulations for COVID-19 vaccinations, including new Emergency Temporary Standards from OSHA that will require all employers with 100 or more employees to ensure their workforce is fully vaccinated or require any workers who remain unvaccinated to produce a negative test result on at least a weekly basis before coming to work. While there is still a lot we don’t know about the ETS, we know that it will be challenged in court and that there are steps that organizations can take right now in order to get ready for the new vaccine requirement.
