Smart Cities Dialogue: Building Inclusive Communities & Partnerships
As part of an ongoing infrastructure series, Georgia Tech is hosting an international smart cities conference in Atlanta that will draw speakers from Australia, Canada, France, Israel, the Netherland, Nigeria, Uganda and the United States.
Sponsored by distinguished-professors-of-the-practice, John Rice (recently retired Vice-Chairman of the General Electric Company), and Dennis Lockhart (recently retired president and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta), this peer-to-peer conference will focus on how to develop smarter communities that understand urban life primarily as a social, and only secondarily as a technical and logistics ecosystem.
