Leadership Summit - Urban Revitalization

Learning about opportunity zones and urban revitalization lecture

Women in Action, a local civic organization, is bringing the message of Urban Revitalization to Atlanta for a one day Leadership Summit that is sure to spark the fire of entrepreneurship. Attendees to this free event will hear from a nonpartisan panel of experts, business and community leaders, government officials, and support for understanding tax regulation as attendees are walked through the process of utilizing capital gains incentives provided under this hybrid model of public/private partnerships. Marketed originally as “A New Deal for Black America,” this program benefits all opportunity zone communities regardless of ethnicity. 

“All Georgians have a chance to take advantage of this opportunity zone legislation,” says a spokesperson for Women in Action. “We want people from all over the state to find out how to realize their dreams through this tax incentive that will bring other people’s money to Georgia; investing in our families, for our children. This is not political - it is about our future.”
