Leadership Peach Program - Module 5 - Leading Change

Module 5 - February 14, 2022 at the Peach County Board of Commissioners office

9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Morning Session: Leading Change

During the morning, participants will investigate networking, coordinating, cooperating, and collaborating as tools for leaders in developing strong communities.  Lunch will be provided by Creekside Catfish.

Afternoon Session: Economic Development 101

In the afternoon, Executive Director of the Development Authority of Peach County, BJ Walker, will tie all of the previous afternoon sessions together into one, easy to understand package and discuss how economic development works in a community. 

Topics will include:

• Workforce
• Quality of life
• Middle Georgia Megasite
• Robins International Industrial Park (GRAD Certified Select site)
• Expansion (examples: Blue Bird, HSM)
• Recruitment (examples: Pure Flavor, Local Bounti)
• RFIs, site visits

At the end of Module 5, there will be a graduation celebration to commemorate the inaugural class of Leadership Peach!  Details are a surprise!
