Camellia Painting Class at Massee Lane Gardens

Americus, Georgia artist Yasmin Hasnain will lead a fun camellia painting class on February 15, 2020 as part of the 2020 Festival of Camellias at Massee Lane Gardens. She will lead the class in painting a portrait of a camellia bloom.

 

The $30 class fee includes canvas, paint, painting materials and garden admission. The class is held in the beautiful Fetterman Porcelain Gallery.

 

A self trained artist, Yasmin loved painting from a young age and has tried many mediums and likes to paint different subject matters, landscapes, portraits and even some abstracts.

 

Presently, Yasmin is a board member of the Americus Arts Council in southwest Georgia. Her paintings have been sold in art shows in Americus, Albany, and Columbus, Georgia. Her paintings can also be found on display at Cafe Campesino in Americus, Georgia. She has been giving Art lessons to both children and adults in Americus.
