DESCRIPTION:Module 3 - December 13\, 2022 at the Byron Municipal Complex\n\n9:00 a.m. 3:00 p.m.\n\nLunch will be provided by Drug Store Deli\n\nMorning Session: Making Group Decisions\n\nThe morning session will focus on developing an understanding of group dynamics\, the environments in which groups work and the skills necessary for effective decision making. \n\nAfternoon Session: Industry\n\nDuring the afternoon\, participants will hear from a panel of speakers to include:\n\n\n Representative Patty Bentley\n Candice Scott\, Georgia Department of Economic Development\n Tonya Mole\, Georgia Department of Community Affairs\n Aundrea Simmons\, Georgia Department of Labor\n Andrea Griner\, Central Georgia Technical College\n\n\nThe class will also tour local industry in Peach County (finalizing list and will update here accordingly).\n\nTopics will include:\n\nIndustry\n\n\n New (current/active projects\; expanding industries and businesses)\n Future (labor trends\, how to address challenges\, etc.)\n Regional and local resources\n State programs (what they are\, who they are for and how they work to incentivize/attract/grow business in Georgia)
