DESCRIPTION:The Middle Georgia Regional Commission has been working with Peach County\, The City of Byron\, and the City of Fort valley on the joint comprehensive plan. So far\, we have had a Kickoff Public hearing to discuss our broader goals and we have released a survey to allow community members to identify their concerns.  To participate with the survey please click HERE. \n\nWe are now scheduling Stakeholder meetings around 7 main topics that were identified at the public hearing. These topics include Public Health and Safety\, Housing\, Economic Development\, Public Facilities and Utilities\, Natural and Cultural Resources\, Education\, and Transportation. If you feel you would like to contribute to any of these discussions\, we invite you to attend the stakeholder meeting(s). \n\nThe meeting times and dates are on the attached flyer. The location of all the meetings will be the Peach County Board of Commissioners office at 213 Persons St\, Fort Valley\, GA 31030.
