DESCRIPTION:The 2023 Middle GA STEM City Expo is a drop-in event and all are welcome.  Training classes will be available throughout the day. The event is FREE and open to the public and no registration is required for attendance.\n\n\nEvent website: https://museumofaviation.org/moaevents/stem-city-expo/\n\nThe goal of this event is to increase awareness of K-12 students\, parents\, and teachers about education and career opportunities in STEM-related fields. Community partners in education\, business\, and industry are needed to join the effort in sharing the importance of preparation for STEM careers. With the collaborative effort of all activity partners\, we will send the message that "STEM is everywhere" and that STEM is a vital part of almost every organization and community. \n\n\n\nAnyone with a STEM focus can facilitate an activity booth: museums\, science and technology centers\, colleges and universities\, non-profits\, professionals\, companies\, libraries\, corporations\, government agencies and more. The goal is to showcase high quality STEM-related organizations across the Middle GA area\, all sizes\, all industries\, and all disciplines.\n\n\nEvent Guidance:\n\n	All STEM Partners must have an interactive\, hands-on activity to encourage student learning.\n	STEM Partners are not allowed to sell items at this event.\n	STEM Partner space is limited and will be given out first come\, first serve by approval. We encourage you to apply as soon as possible to secure a place. Please note: turning in an application does not guarantee acceptance into the expo.\n	Applications will be reviewed for acceptance and notification of acceptance will be given via email.\n	STEM Partners must notify of cancellations by July 28\, 2023.\n	STEM Partner areas are approx. 8  by 8 .
