Membership Options Annual dues are the financial backbone of the Chamber. Investment levels are optional and based on your commitment and ability to fully support the Chamber. Agribusiness: $150 Apartment/Mobile Home Park/Mini Storage: $200 Automotive New/Used: $250 Automotive Repair: $150 Construction (builders, painters, renovations): $200 Educational (tech schools, colleges, universities): $500 Education (private schools, day care, etc.): $150 Education (public schools): $150 Financial Institutions: $1,200 plus $20 per million for average deposits. Government (development authority, city, county): $500 Utility Commission: $1,000 Health Care (hospital, nursing home, etc.): $250 Hotel/Motel: $200 Individuals/non-profits: $100 Insurance and Real Estate: Firms $200, Agents $100 Manufacturing up to 100 employees: $200, all employees over 100 are $2 each Professional (doctors, dentists, publishers, suppliers, wholesale, distributors: $200 Restaurants (cafes and fast food, no alcohol): $200 Restaurants (cafes and fast food, with alcohol): $250 Retailers: $200 Services (barbers, hair salons, lawn care, exterminators, etc.): $150

The Chamber of Commerce is a 501 (c)(6) Non Profit, Public Benefit Corporation. Fed. Tax I.D. #xx-xxxxxxx. A percentage of your Chamber investment amount is deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense. Contributions and gifts are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes. The Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1993 prohibits you from deducting, for federal income tax purposes, the portion of your membership investments, which is allocable to the lobbying activities of this organization. Membership is continuous until a written resignation is submitted to the Board of Directors. Membership plaques are the property of the Chamber and must be returned if your membership is cancelled for any reason. |
